Office Coordinator

Amuneal is looking for a mid-level office coordinator to join our team. This role will operate between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday-Friday and will be fully onsite at our Darrah and Torresdale locations in Philadelphia.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • • Taking phone calls and inquiries from clients, customers, and partners.
  • • Taking inventory and organizing office supplies.
  • • Utilizing programs such as Epicor and Microsoft Suites to pull expense reports, create fliers, etc.
  • • Setting up meeting spaces for client meetings or trainings by ordering food, cleaning, and checking equipment.
  • • Helping troubleshoot office technology, especially conference room TVs and computers or contacting our IT team to help resolve ongoing issues.
  • • Putting together “swag bags” for new hires.

Desired Qualifications:

  • • 3+ years of experience in a role with transferrable skillsets required.
  • • A willingness to become a subject matter expert in the role to be a helpful point of contact for customers.
  • • An ability to problem solve while also having the ability to follow directions when needed.
  • • A strong technical aptitude- experience with Microsoft Suites is a plus.
  • • A proven track record of being a successful organizer, planner, receptionist, or customer service representative.

Product/Design/Industrial Engineer

As part of our Design Engineering team, Engineers support our sales and production teams by translating our customer designs into the language of our products. This work includes modeling of customer specific sites, and engineering custom configurations of Amuneal’s standard product offerings within those sites, for approval by our clients. Once approved, these configurations are further detailed by our Product Engineers using our 3D parametric modeling software to create a fully developed manufacturing package. Our Product Engineers are a vital part of our teams and can expect to regularly collaborate with our sales and fabrication teams.

Metal Fabricator

Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking talented Metal Fabricators to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of drawings, schematics, and blueprints to work from to fabricate products and fixtures. They will be responsible for performing set-up and production operations on projects of a wide variety, while maintaining standards for safety & quality.

Minimum Requirements

  • • 5+ years’ experience in a production environment
  • • Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and typical shop equipment (band saw, drill press, grinding/sanding machines, etc.)
  • • Capable of performing MIG & TIG welding on steel
  • • Performing set-up & layout for projects based on drawings
  • • Consistent attention to detail; ensuring highest quality of finished products and minimal rework.

Showroom Designer (New York)

Amuneal is growing our New York Showroom Sales + Design Team based in the New York Design Center at 200 Lex.

  • We are seeking experienced designers and creative salespeople with strong visualization skills and willingness to become Amuneal experts. In this role, you will be facilitating design discussions with Interior Designers, Architects, and Contractors creating an engaging customer experience and communicating Amuneal’s vast capabilities through inspiration imagery and learned technical knowledge. The right team member will be trained in the history of Amuneal, our design language, and fabrication capabilities to best represent the brand to our clients and develop one-of-a-kind, made-to-order custom installations come to life.
    Candidates must have a passion for design and quality work. Experience in high-end custom furniture design and fabrication, as well as proficiency conveying concepts through hand sketch or software is highly preferred. A background in custom design for Interiors, Furniture, Kitchens or Millwork is highly beneficial.
    In addition to creating designs based on Amuneal’s offerings, you will develop proposals including estimation and documenting scope of work through written proposals. Members of our New York Sales + Design team are in regular communication and collaboration with our Philadelphia based Estimating, Engineering, Project Management and Fabrication teams as well as our New York based Installation team.
    There is some flexibility if the focus of this role based on the right candidates experience and interests.

Cabinet Maker & Wood Worker

Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking talented Cabinet Makers & Wood Workers to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. Candidates should be self-motivated, and hands-on, with a passion for building beautiful things. They will be responsible for a variety of production tasks in our Woodshop while meeting Amuneal’s standards for quality and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

  • • 5+ years of experience in a furniture shop or similar environment
  • • Experience in setup and operation of all woodshop equipment/machinery including: Planer/Joiner, Table Saw, Band Saw, Router, Wide belt sander
  • • Ability to read plans and generate cut lists
  • • Ability to lead a small team and meet milestones set by the scheduling team
  • • Flexible hours & willingness to work overtime & weekends

Preferred Requirements:

  • • Site/Field installation experience preferred including: Cabinets, Millwork, Large Furniture Installations, Cladding

They will be expected to be able to produce finishes on products based on both written directions (finish codes on drawings) and verbal communication. Employees will be offered in-house training on our finishing processes to strengthen core skills and build knowledge and experience.

      • • 2+ years of experience with patina finishes
      • • Basic knowledge of blueprints and reading drawings

Wood CNC Programmer

Candidates will be responsible for the full range of tasks relating to the CNC production of wood components in support of custom projects. This includes interfacing with the Engineering team to modify part files and drawings for machinability, troubleshooting technical issues with technical support, and performing general maintenance activities.

Minimum Requirements:

    • • 3+ years of experience operating wood CNC router & 3D Modeling CAD/CAM software
    • • Ability to re-tool & maintain CNC routers
    • • Flexible schedule & willingness to work overtime and weekends to support manufacturing efforts

Maintenance Technician

Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is knowledgeable and proficient with industrial machinery repair and maintenance.  This position will also support outside Contractors for Building improvements and Electrical Wiring installations, Equipment / Machine Technicians when they are in to perform PM’s or doing Machine Repairs and support our outside Safety Consultants during their walkthroughs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Perform scheduled PMs on all machinery
  • • Willingness to travel for training classes
  • • Diagnose and repair broken equipment, machinery and electric
  • • Update old electrical systems
  • • Ensure compliance and safety with all outside vendors while visiting
