Location: NoHo, New York, NYFor the offices of a sun-filled financial firm in NoHo, Amuneal made multiple bespoke shelving and casework pieces in our Collector’s Series.
Showcasing just how flexible and customizable the Collector’s Series can be, our shelves are used as bookshelves, product displays, bar shelves and partition walls throughout the office space.
Many feature options are incorporated into the Corner 5 Bay Unit which surrounds a conference table and spans the floor to ceiling windows. The unit includes ladders which are intentionally left open in order to allow for shelves to be moved to different levels, in this case accommodating the growth of the plants, or to mix up the display. Shelf types range from knife edge, to hanging and rising strap shelves, to a custom LED lit glass display case with leather straps. Gunmetal mesh panels conceal the corner space and add visual texture, while the upper dimmable LED light bars at the top illuminate items on display. The lower credenza in matching bleached oak and gunmetal provides additional concealed storage for bar items and stemware holders are mounted to the shelf above.
The workspace of each employee is defined by Collector’s Shelves in matching finishes with both open and concealed storage to create a delineation of space without closing off the area completely. Our Collector’s Round Vanity Mirror with Totem Sconces provides an industrial touch in the office’s washroom, while a no knife edge variation on our 3 Drawer Knife Edge Console provides a statement piece in the private office.
