Case Study #84132: Cerused Chestnut + Champagne Brass Kitchen with Gunmetal Niche Bar
Design: Jones Group Interiors
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
This residential kitchen features a sophisticated and artisanal material mix of metal and wood with minimalist detailing. The Champagne Brass upper cabinets and range hood have no exposed hardware and a hidden knife edge pull on the lower edge and under-cabinet lighting. The lower cabinets, appliance panels and island are faced with vertical grain cerused chestnut, which is a patinaed oak made to look like chestnut and Amuneal’s Contour edge pulls in coordinating champagne brass which is comparable to a warm nickel finish. The lower cabinets include pull out drawers behind the door faces, custom spice rack and knife block inserts. Top drawers are lined with black faux leather. Appliance Pulls are machined brass offset pulls. There are panel ready appliances throughout and the island is clad in champagne brass on the seating side.
In the adjacent hall to the foyer, Amuneal made a custom Blackened Stainless Steel Bar to fit into an unusual triangular niche space with a flush kick inline with the lower cabinetry and glass Vista Cabinet uppers.
