19 Sep Red Tape Wall in DC Eater
Amuneal engineered and fabricated the Red Tape Wall in the newly designed POV lounge, atop Washington D.C.’s W Hotel. The project presented a special challenge, as each “strip” of the the cold-rolled steel that comprises this architectural centerpiece had to be individually engineered and precision welded. To ensure the accuracy of each element, the entire sculpture was computer modeled, before each strip was laser-cut, and then, finally, powder-coated in cherry red.
