This single bay wall-mounted shelving in our Loft Series supports five wood shelves shelves with Amuneal custom machined bronze Loft fittings on bent steel posts. Amuneal artisans mill the Charred Pine shelves in house to a thickness of 1.5” before hand-finishing them using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban process of burning the wood. Once completed, we seal the shelves with a protective coating. This maintains the burnt textural finish. The blackened steel posts and machined patinated bronze hardware combine with the charred oak shelves to make this stunning and sculptural shelving option for a one of a kind space. All Amuneal shelves are fabricated in our Philadelphia-based furniture studio and can be customized with different metal and wood finishes as well as different shelf widths and configurations.
