This customer came to us in the early stages of redesigning a system that was very costly to maintain. Field service on this high volume consumer electronics production machine was expensive and caused our customer significant downtime. It was also difficult to access the instrument due to the complexity of the existing dual layer shield requirement.

Through collaboration, we developed a modular magnetic shield that required significantly less time to remove while providing access to areas that were previously unavailable for maintenance. By simplifying the shield design from ten components to four, we reduced the complexity and service time, which enhanced the performance of both the shield and the system.
