Case Study #78306: DC Townhouse Built-in Bar Cabinetry
Client: Private Residence
Design: Zoe Feldman
Location: Washington, DC
In collaboration with Zoe Feldman, Amuneal created multiple bespoke elements for this historic Washington DC townhouse.
A curved wooden archway with transom made of Oiled Walnut, Mottled Bronze and glass surrounds the passage between the kitchen and the dining room and allows light into the center of the home. It is flanked by built-in bar cabinetry and coordinating wine display on either side within the dining room, maximizing every inch of space for entertaining. Amuneal’s Frankford Panel Wine Room Doors enclose Wine Saddles in Marsh Green Leather + Aged Bronze mounted to Oiled Walnut interiors. The mirroring Gunmetal + Walnut Bar features glass Vista Cabinet Uppers, Walnut Backsplash, a concealed Walnut pull-out cutting board below the bar top, padded drawer for bar ware, and adjustable interior wood shelves. Both vitrines include recessed lighting, illuminating the wine bottles, bar ware, and glassware inside.
